Absurd Requests

What a Hiatus!
I'm back and ready for more of those sweet, sweet and sour confessions.


Some requests I can do... others.... just no... no....no.
Let me just get this straight. I'm a vet tech. Not a Doggy Spa Maid.
 I spend most of my days dealing with absurdities, I don't need your even more absurd requests.
You don't go into Target and ask for them to put your clothes on for you or tie your shoes do you?

 What are absurd requests? I will gladly give you some examples below. :)

Separate bowls of water for each pet in the room. I can do one bowl of water. I still get a little grrr about it. The dog always ends up spilling it everywhere and causing a mess.. not drinking it. Then is gets left in the room after they leave and is just another thing to clean up.
One bowl for poochie, one for Scruffy, one for muffy.. Seriously???
Or Special treats. Sure some dogs have special diets and I get that but when people start asking for me to try 1001 different treats on their pet for a 15 minutes vaccine appt. 
Just bring your own treats!!!!

Can you give Mr. Poo-Poo a bath? No. I can't. I have a hard enough time bathing my own dogs. I'm not going to bath yours for free.
Can you just show me how to trim nails?
Showing turns into 'oh you can you do all the paws? He gives me such a hard time.'
Can you file all the nails on my land shark chihuahua who spins and rolls and poops himself?
No We don't file your pet's nails. It takes up way too much time and do you really want me to traumatize your pet further by filing every single nail after he lost his mind on the nail trim??

Can you fill out the information for my microchip on my dog and register me?
You own a computer. It's 2019. You can do it, plus I don't want to be held accountable if I 'mess up' your address.

Price Check?
Yes I've had people call and ask me to either
A. Call all other hospitals in the area and match them to our prices
OR
B. Call up EVERY pharmacy and see which medication is cheaper where.

I seriously Don't have time for this... and again the 'magic' on the internet brings all that info to the tips of your fingers!
